Stewart's Car Sells For $300K At Barrett-Jackson

>> Saturday, January 19, 2008

The star of the show was two-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Champion Tony Stewart, who brought one of his now-obsolete 2007 Joe Gibbs Racing No. 20 Chevrolet Monte Carlos, which sold for $300,000. Stewart donated all of the proceeds from the sale to the Darrell Gwynn Foundation.

The NASCAR racer was purchased by Chandler, Ariz., resident Ron Pratt, who in recent years has bought several multi-million dollar cars at Barrett-Jackson, including the GM Futureliner bus and the Oldsmobile F-88 show car.
