My new puter, Martinsville and more.

I tell you what, I sure do like Martinsville better than Bristol. I am hoping that the empty seats that I saw on Sunday were weather related and not a slow down on NASCAR's popularity. I believe this year's chase is going to be one of the best ones we've seen.
I am thrilled with Dale Jr.'s consistency, but I would have loved to see him win the race. Junior led a total of 146 laps, but towards the end Dale's car was pooped from being over driven.
"I should have been more patient," Earnhardt Jr. said. "But I just burned it up so we didn't get the finish we could have or needed to have. We got a good finish."
Dale Jr. hasn't won a points race in almost two years, so he's well overdue for a win.
Michael McDowell's debut didn't go over to well with other drivers, especially with Jeff Burton.
"We conserved a bit when we were leading there," said Burton, who finished third. "We got out front and once we got going, I didn't have enough rear grip to burn fuel, so we actually started coming back. I ran the 11 back down and I thought we were going to be in pretty good shape, but that kid in the double-zero car, he, um, needs to learn some manners or he is going to get taught. He can choose to do it the way he wants to, the hard way or the easy way, but one way or another he'll get taught."
Personally I think Burton should have used the chrome horn, but being a gentleman that he is, Burton did not.
All in all, I really enjoyed the Martinsville race and the Busch brothers just put the icing on the cake for me.
Finally, I would like to introduce to you my new computer (photos below)along with my brand new Dale Jr. mouse pad.

Hey girl...nice mousepad. It looks just like mine. lol
I thoroughly enjoyed Martinsville. It was like Bristol used to be. Bristol is so boring now. Yes, I believe the stands were not filled due to the weather.
I would have liked Junior to win too, but his day is coming. I think we will have to declare the day he wins a national holiday or something.
Enjoy that new computer.
You must feel real eensy looking UP at those flowers on your screensaver. Congrats on the upgrade, vroom vroom. And yeah, Dale Jr. is way overdue, though the combined showing by Hendrick Motorports shows those boys are all in the running.
Think of how boring Martinsville would have been if Bristol hadn't gone to the new configuration. It would have been just like the old Bristol except s-l-o-w-e-r. I like the Bristol upgrade, the races there are still very unique, and it makes Martinsville unique. It was good for both tracks. But that goes to show we can watch the same thing and see it differently.
Nice computer.
Good luck to Jr at TMS. It could very well be his day.
TMS 2000 = Jr's first career Cup win.
TMS 2008 = Jr's first Cup win in the Sprint Cup car, and first in an HMS car.
