You Got Me Under Pressure

First of all, I think ZZ Top still rocks! As for the ho-hum race, not so much.
Ok, ok so Jimmie Johnson wrecked in the 2nd lap. Big deal. The guy still has a seventy something lead going on. I don't believe anyone will put much more of a dent in his point lead unless something catastrophic happens like Sunday's little accident.
Anyway, my hopes of Junior having a top 5 pretty much stalled like Junior's car did on pit row. Yep, something or someone always seems to ruin Junior's day. But I have to say I was absolutely giddy when Kyle Busch had the same thing happen to him. That pretty much shut everyone's trap.
I was so sick and tired hearing the commentators talk about Kyle's potential historic weekend that I wanted to throw the TV right out the front door.
And speaking of TV, did anyone see who finished in what place? I saw Kurt Busch and that was it. ESPN was so preoccupied with Kyle Busch, Jimmie Johnson and Kurt Busch that they didn't even bother to show the rest of the field crossing the finish line. What is up with that?
So, let me know if I am the only one that thinks ESPN should not be covering NASCAR races until they read the "how to broadcast a NASCAR race properly" manual. Pfft.

I couldn't agree more. Mom and I fast forwarded the majority of the race besides JJ's misfortune (she was pretty devastated by that - I told her "now you know how I feel") I really wish they'd do something about this coverage. Who decides when to go to commercial and crap? They go to commercial when people are (rarely) fighting for the lead. And one of the most annoying, when the person that wins is doing the burnout! Why couldn't we see Kurt do his backward victory lap? We see him do it a little then suddenly he's getting pushed. WTF?
I really enjoy Fox and even TNT. TNT less because the commercials are an onslaught, however, you have Racebuddy AND they do a little thing called "Through the Field" which is great because we get to hear about OTHER people. I didn't enjoy Fox as much this year because of the Kyle Busch worship. I love Jr but I don't expect them to worship him either. I just want to hear about everyone. AJ got a top ten and we never heard anything about him. Yesterday was all about a disabled 48 car, Shrub's unfair three feat, and two brothers winning 1, 2. If Shrub wins 3 cup races in a row, then I'll be impressed. Winning against inferior equipment? Please. There are 43 other drivers here, I'd like to hear about them.
